What we welcome

We consider pitches about personal priorities, habits, belongings, home rituals and consumption. Strong proposals might explain a choice, compare two approaches, examine a familiar assumption or offer a focused guide for a particular moment. The subject should stand on its own and leave room for readers to make their own decisions.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the working idea, who it is for, why it merits a piece and what the reader will take away. Include a brief outline and note any expertise, sources or images the proposal depends on. Keep the scope manageable, avoid unsupported claims and do not send confidential or sensitive personal information.

How to send it

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your proposal. Please do not submit a complete article unless requested. We cannot promise a response time or publication, and we will discuss terms before agreeing to commissioned work.
